S'bu Zikode and Philani Zungu were freed this morning after at night of abuse in the hands of Glen Nayagr

This morning broke with police lies been given quite some prominance in the media. Mabuyakulu's hysterial deployment of the white agitator/Third Force crap was all over the radio too.
By 9 o'clock M'du Hlongwa had a good lawyer reader and there were hundres of Bahlali in the corridors of the court - most in red shirts. They'd come from all over Durban and Pinetown. There were some many people in red shirts thronging the passages and halls that a special court was made available and the case was moved to the top of the roll. Not everyone could fit into the court but it was all over very quickly. S'bu came up the stairs, snuck a wink and a smile, and then Philani. They had clearly visible head injuries. They were released without bail and an October date was set for a second appearance. The Bahlali then moved outside for a celebration. S'bu and Philani both reported that they had personally been assaulted by the notorious Glen Nayagar in the cells. And as he bashed their heads into the walls he shouted very political abuse at them 'You people must go back where you came from!', 'We don't need you here - just go and rot in your shacks!'. 'Your politics won't help you in here - I am in charge here - don't forget that!' 'No more red shirts in Sydenham!' 'This is just the beginning!'
After the celebration outside the court it was off to the district surgeon to get a proper record of their injuries, then to a doctor, then to the police to lay charges of assault and theft and now its on to Kennedy Road for a big party.
On Saturday night a response will be planned.
